The CLEAR2O DirtGUARD Sediment PreFilter serves as the first line of defense, capturing and removing particulate matter such as dirt, silt, sand, and debris from your water. This prefilter transforms your inline water filter into a two-stage filtration system, ensuring you use the cleanest possible water. It effectively eliminates silt, sand, sediment, rust, and other particulates, enhancing the performance of your inline RV filter. Designed to fit most standard inline water filter brands, the DirtGUARD Sediment PreFilter has a compact and durable design with a ridged polyethylene filter that offers a higher dirt-holding capacity. The filter's life can be extended between changes through backwashing. It is recommended to replace the filter every six months or as needed. The package includes the PreFilter housing, a 10-micron sediment filter, a wrench, a backwashing adapter, and a hose extender. Using the DirtGUARD Sediment PreFilter model RDG101, this prefilter blocks sediment at the 10-micron level, prolonging the life of your inline filter. This ensures that water can pass through properly and your filter continues to perform effectively. By transforming any inline RV filter into a two-stage filtration system, the DirtGUARD optimizes your carbon filter's performance, allowing you to achieve the cleanest water possible and maximize the filter's usage. The DirtGUARD can be used a stand-alone pre-filter when using the DirtGUARD Adapter (sold separately).
